About Carol L. Grant
Miami Florida's Estate Planning Attorney
Carol L. Grant is an attorney serving clients in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties since 1997. Carol’s area of proven and time-tested expertise is inĀ Probate, Estate Planning and Guardianship. Her mission is to serve the community by developing strong relationships and bonds of trust so that every client considers her their trusted counselor.
Growing up in Jamaica, West Indies, Carol dreamed of being a nurse and a lawyer. Her passion for the medical field came from her mother, an extraordinary Nursing Assistant. She was ushered towards law by her grandfather, who recognized her problem-solving skills at a young age. He often called upon her to take on the role of the family’s mediator, paving the way for her to become a lawyer.
Carol earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida in 1988 and worked as a Registered Nurse for over four years at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Following her passion for helping others, Carol went on to earn her law degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, in 1996. Carol and her team strive every day to offer worry-free, anxiety-free, and stress-free legal services, which is difficult to find in the legal field.
One of Carol’s passions is to educate the community about the benefits of estate planning and how to avoid probate. Over the past two years, Carol has hosted and participated in over 12 workshops.
Carol is married to Peter, and together they have four daughters, Alexandria, Ashley, Alyssa, and Amanda. She aspires to excel personally and professionally and to be an example of a Proverbs 31 woman to her children. Carol is an avid reader and enjoys cooking, gardening, exercising, and reading.
